We are looking for a very rare human who’s savvy and secretly gifted to join our growing team. As our Studio Manager you will help build a thriving creative culture through day-to-day operations. This role needs someone who is excited about working across disciplines to optimize and manage our pipeline of work, interact with clients, engage external talent, and create opportunities for our business to become more visible—by hosting/joining events and sharing our point-of-view and work online. The ideal candidate will have experience in business coordination, an interest in business and brand strategy, and a close connection to the design industry. This role will be exciting to young entrepreneurs, strategists, and MBA grads looking for exposure to a design-led business, as well as many industries and organizations.
Lead day-to-day operations by working with the leadership team to manage schedules and maintain the pipeline of projects. Including the development of a transparent process for workload and project prioritization.
Facilitate meetings and interactions with clients. Prepare materials and facilities, and make necessary arrangements for travel, connectivity, accommodations as needed.
Participate in and organize project related research. Coordinate interviews with individuals and groups, read reports and studies, take notes, and document findings.
Manage hiring efforts by on-boarding and managing contract workforce.
Keep the team inspired by organizing events and ordering materials.
Celebrate the creativity of our team by building upon the aesthetic of our office.
Administrative support to the leadership team. Proactively manage, update, and maintain calendars and emails with attention to accuracy and detail, while recognizing the need to re-prioritize as initiatives change.
Work collaboratively and independently to solve complex problems and find creative solutions to internal and client objectives and requirements.
Listen actively and be an effective communicator, in writing and in person.
Be unafraid to have your opinion changed.
Give and solicit feedback from others in order to continually raise our bar for quality
